Timber Volunteer

This is the place to find out all about volunteering for Timber 2018.

Timber is an extraordinary new camping festival exploring the transformative impact of forests, in the heart of the National Forest, one of Britain’s boldest environmental projects. Celebrating woodland culture in all its forms, join us for an intoxicating experience where music, art, philosophy and sustainability weave together into an unforgettable, exhilarating weekend.

Bringing together artists, musicians, scientists and thinkers from across the world, we’ll be diving into the poetry of nature, exploring what forests and woodlands can mean to us and how we can re-imagine our relationship with our environment.  Timber will bring together communities to play and create in our arboreal wonderland, where the tonic of wildness rules supreme.

Timber is created by The National Forest company in partnership with Wild Rumpus, award-winning producers of the Just So Festival and other outdoor arts and festival experiences.

The festival will take place on 6th, 7th and 8th July 2018 and our volunteering opportunities will be available between 2nd – 10th July 2018. We have a range of volunteering roles available and when you apply, you can register your interest in more than one team. We’ll confirm your team based on the dates you are available and one of your preferred team selections.

Below we have listed all of the teams available plus an idea of the time commitment needed.
