We’re pretty excited to be launching the Culture Sessions, A monthly gathering of the cultural curators who are shaping events and festivals in Cheshire East.
In partnership with Cheshire East Council, we are establishing a Cheshire East cultural forum for festivals and events which can feed into local aspirations and conversations around quality of place, health and wellbeing, economic resilience, retaining artistic talent in the borough and creating more employment opportunities in arts and culture.
From September we will host a regular monthly session on a specific topic, at our woodland base, the Whirligig in Cheshire, on the 2nd Monday of each month.
We see this as an opportunity to share ideas and work, successes and failures and encourage debate around innovation, cultural trends and progressive initiatives.
We’ll cover subjects like Co-Commissioning, Talent Development, Marketing, Evaluation, Accessibility, Sustainability, Income diversification, Quality etc…
We will wherever possible incorporate artistic content, sharing opportunities and aim to provoke debate, conversation and collaboration.
